Entry Level Electrical Maintenance Tech

Starting rate : $20.00

Schedule : 7AM-3 : 30PM M-F

• Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, blowers, drives, heaters, dies and gear boxes utilizing basic mechanic’s hand and power tools
• Perform all daily maintenance on electrostatic spray guns, pumps, chillers, air compressors, conveyors, heat exchangers, robots, motors, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimum performance and utilization
• Fabricates, assembles, and tests parts as needed, such as various pumps, valves, heaters, compressors, and other mechanical system parts using metal fabricating tools, common hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Ability to fabricate, assemble, and tests parts as needed, such as various pumps, valves, heaters, compressors, and other mechanical system parts using metal fabricating tools, common hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Installing conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, recording devices, starters, and temporary wiring setups
• Install motor starters, variable frequency drives, conduit and raceway systems
• Maintains central steam and cooling chemical water treatment systems, other systems
• Replaces fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications
• May requisition equipment, materials, and supplies
• Conducts inspections of electrical, mechanical and other equipment typical of a chemical facilit
