Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with tools like Java Selenium, C# Selenium, or Playwright, along with strong SQL skills and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Location Hybrid (4 days) : Phoenix, AZ / USA or Westerville, OH / USA

Required Qualifications

Minimum 6-7 years of Testing experience

Minimum 3-4 years of Automation experience in Java Selenium or C# Selenium or Playwright

Experience in integrating automation scripts with DevOps CI / CD pipeline

Good knowledge in SQL and able to write complex queries

Experience in banking domain would be good to have

Roles / Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright / Java Selenium

Integrating the automation scripts to CI / CD pipeline

Collaborating with development and project team to understand the features and identify and create the scripts

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues related to automated systems

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until September 2, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
