Neurology (Outpatient) - Houston Methodist - West Houston

Houston Methodist West is seeking a general outpatient Neurologist to join an expanding practice of 2 physicians and 1 APP. Primary responisbiliy is to provide expert clinical care for patients with neurological conditions, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of neurological conditions.

Located on the hospital campus in West Houston / Katy, this is a wonderful opportunity in a thriving medical community in one of the fastest growing suburbs of the Houston metropolitan area.

Houston Methodist West provides a full spectrum of services designed to serve the region's neurology needs with a unique patient-centered care philosophy.

Services include :

Neurosurgery program providing diagnostic, consultative and therapeutic services for treatment of routine and complex disorders

Outpatient imaging services, includes two 3-Tesla MRIs, one Wide Bore 3-Tesla MRI and one non-wide bore 1.5-Tesla MRI

Research opportunities available with the Houston Methodist Research Institute

Strong neuroscience program coordinator and marketing support

Qualifications

Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school

Completion of residency in Neurology from an accredited program

Board certification or eligibility in Neurology

Valid TX medical license

Excellent clinical skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
