Crop Insurance Advisor

A strong financial organization is currently seeking a qualified crop insurance advisor to grow with an expanding team! This crop insurance advisor position is responsible for maintaining and servicing assigned accounts to make sound underwriting decisions including marketing, customer service and administrative support. The right crop insurance advisor will also provide support to new and existing accounts while meeting established agency account retention goals through extraordinary customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with data entry, underwriting, and great communication skills and will have the backing of an underwriting and supportive staff. As a crop insurance advisor you will be responsible for selling Multi-Peril, Crop Hail, Pasture, Range land, Forage, and Livestock products to customer and non-customer prospects. If this sounds like a role for you, apply today!

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in business, agriculture, or a related field
• Current Insurance License in Minnesota and North Dakota required
• Sales experience in multi-peril, crop hail, and named peril products with a proven performance record.
• Strong knowledge of agriculture
• Highly motivated and able to perform without direct supervision.
• Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, communication, organizational, delegation, and team player skills.
• Ability and desire to obtain knowledge of the full array of financial services, operational systems / processes, industry trends, etc.
