As a Level 2 QC Fitter Inspector, you’ll ensure fabricated components meet engineering and customer specifications prior to welding. This includes verifying fit-up, dimensional accuracy, and material compliance using precision tools. You’ll perform visual inspections, support NDT activities, and document findings. The role involves collaborating with shop personnel to resolve discrepancies and supervising quality processes. You’ll also maintain inspection equipment and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements :

• 2–5 years of experience in fabrication or QC inspection
• NDT Level II certification in MT, PT, VT, and RT film interpretation (SNT-TC-1A compliant)
• Strong understanding of fit-up techniques, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Ability to read and interpret shop fabrication drawings and weld symbols
• Familiarity with ASME and AWS standards
• Skilled in using measuring tools (tape, calipers, squares, angle finders, etc.)
