As the Sr Revenue Policy Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between Sales, Legal, Product, Order Operations, and Accounting, distilling intricate accounting rules into streamlined processes that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will report to a Director who prides herself on mentorship and internal mobility, giving you a clear runway into future leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and deploy revenue accounting frameworks that harmonize with novel pricing architectures, integrated software and hardware solutions, and adaptive market entry strategies, all compliant with current revenue accounting guidelines.
- Map policy requirements to real-world steps in quoting, contracting, fulfillment, and billing, then close any gaps through process redesign or system enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to vet novel offerings and non-standard terms, providing clear, prompt guidance on revenue impacts before launch.
- Unite with teams managing enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and revenue automation systems to synchronize event triggers, data streams, and control checks that fuel seamless revenue recognition.
- Develop playbooks, quick-start guides, and live trainings so go-to-market teams can execute deals confidently and compliantly.
- Dissect complex contractual arrangements, craft clear analytical reports, and provide audit support with thorough documentation and data analysis for both internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Track emerging guidance and industry trends, recommending updates that keep the company at the forefront of revenue excellence.
What You Will Bring
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is necessary, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification being a significant plus.Substantial background in accounting, with experience in complex financial environments.Advanced understanding of revenue accounting rules, with a proven track record of implementing effective solutions that meet regulatory requirements.Track record partnering with commercial, legal, and product teams on complex, high-value arrangements.Familiarity with cutting-edge revenue management systems, including enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and specialized revenue automation platforms.Outstanding ability to craft clear, compelling messages and effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, driving influence beyond accounting teams.Analytic mindset, project-management rigor, and a passion for process improvement.Preferred Extras
