Vice President & Chief Enterprise Systems Officer

The Vice President & Chief Enterprise Systems Officer (VP & CESO) is a pivotal member of the JHS executive leadership team, responsible for the strategic direction, implementation and optimization of clinical and business application systems across the health system. This role demands visionary leadership, deep technical acumen, and a proven track record in implementing complex enterprise systems, particularly within healthcare environments. This role oversees application services such as Epic (EHR) and Infor CloudSuite (ERP), ensuring that both platforms support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care.

Reporting to and partnering closely with the SVP & CIO and senior leadership, the VP & CESO drives innovation, ensures alignment between technology and clinical / business objectives, and champions scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions that advance JHS's mission and long-term strategic goals. This leader embodies the JHS Leadership Success Factors and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. This leader collaborates closely with clinical, financial, and operational leadership to align technology with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all systems.

Generally requires 7 to 10 years of related experience in enterprise application leadership, preferably in healthcare system environment. Leadership experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required. Master's degree in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Science is strongly preferred.
