We currently have an opening for a Proof Pizza Cook to join our culinary team at Proof Pizza, Saint Kate’s lively restaurant featuring artisan pizzas, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors inspired by creativity.

Recognized as one of Milwaukee's most esteemed hotels with an elite award repertoire, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel offers a modern, luxury experience with artistic flair. Located in Milwaukee’s Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city — where art, music, and cuisine come together to inspire connection and conversation.

What will you be doing?

Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items according to Proof Pizza recipes and standards.

Operate and maintain pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure all ingredients are prepared, portioned, and stocked for smooth service.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following all health and safety regulations.

Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing inventory to maintain freshness and reduce waste.

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistent quality and presentation.

Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Support the team with setup, prep, and closing duties as assigned.

What we are looking for :

Prior culinary or pizza-making experience preferred; wood-fired or artisan pizza experience a plus.

Strong attention to detail, with pride in craft and presentation.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

A positive attitude and a passion for food and hospitality.
