Job Description
Under general supervision, assists in the supervision of the day-to-day operation of the recreation center and / or nature center.
This position performs duties deemed to be "safety sensitive" and is therefore subjected to random drug testing under the City's policies.
Essential Job Functions
Minimum Education and Experience
Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have or have the ability to obtain CPR / First Aid and Bio-hazard training courses immediately upon hire.
Physical Requirements
Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, walking, and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
