Administrative Assistant
Assistant to the director of the Neuromuscular Research Division, including scheduling and sending correspondence on behalf of the director and / or department. Compiles information, prepares reports, and is involved in implementing departmental policies. The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Neuromuscular Research Division within the Neurology Department at KUMC. Tasks include event planning, coordinating travel arrangements, processing travel reimbursements, scheduling meetings, coordinating schedules, and purchasing supplies and materials.

Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, with at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Work Experience : Two (2) years' related work experience.

Compensation Statement : The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
