Job Description : Must Haves :

• 7+ years as a BSA - able to gather requirements, UAT, creating presentations and presenting, etc.
• Experience in the pharma industry
• Agile certification
• Data experience (data warehouse / data lake / analytics)

The BA will (for at least 50% of their time) be responsible for gathering requirements related to their existing data environment (dataware / datalake / analytics apps). The rest of their time will be supporting other projects which could include but not limited to external collaborative authoring, IRT, CTMS Strategy, and PV safety database. They'll be dealing with some of their most technical users on their data platform so candidates must be able to talk data and tech at a low level and work with architects and developers. They need to have people skills, but they really need to know technology really well.

On a day to day basis, the BSA will be responsible for gathering requirements, working with the development team and architects to develop solutions, research what is in industry, create process maps to understand business problems and requirements, drafting presentations to summarize business problems and solutions, testing aspects of solutions (UAT), working with business on updates to existing systems. Day to day could be a mix or some of all of the above and other IT responsibilities which can even involve just bringing together parts of the business and the right stakeholders from IT.

This position is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the solutions developed and implemented by IT align with our business strategies, objectives and processes. The position requires people with a blend of technical, analytical and interpersonal skills and how to apply these in the Pharmaceutical Industry. They will need to understand how to work with both GxP and non-GxP systems and a good understanding of the Clinical (Drug) Development Lifecycle.

The Business Analyst will be involved throughout the project lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery and post implementation support. They will be responsible for facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT Professionals, ensuring that the solutions developed address business problems and add value. They will be directly responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, modelling business and IT processes, managing project scopes, solutions design, in scope testing and ongoing user and system support.

PV Safety Databases / Technologies, EDC Platforms, IRT Platforms, Document Management Technologies e.g. Veeva, CTMS Technologies, ePRO, etc.
