About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean for Workforce Development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Dean with both instructional and management responsibilities at the specified Workforce Development site. This includes site supervision of nursing program activities, assisting with the implementation of special projects, and ensuring the program's compliance with all relevant rules and regulations. The Assistant Dean will also be involved in faculty and staff management, curriculum development, and program evaluation. Clinical and faculty responsibilities are integral to the role, as is the need to maintain a teaching load and engage in student advocacy and support. Candidates for the Assistant Dean position must have a valid and active Registered Nursing License, with a preference for those holding a master's degree in nursing. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in nursing programs and 4 years of continuous experience as a registered nurse in direct patient care are required. The role demands demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. The Assistant Dean will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, lead diverse teams, and have proficiency in technology. Responsibilities also include participation in strategic planning, and assessment of instructional initiatives, and ensuring the quality of the nursing program.
