IT Quality Analyst - Manual & Automation testing

GDIT SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) is working to deliver and operationalize information technology (IT) services for all US SOUTHCOM combatant command constructed networks. These constructed networks span the US SOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
We have an opportunity for an IT Quality Analyst to work in support of SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).This position supports SOUTHCOM's transformative move to a Zero Trust Architecture in alignment with the DoD Zero Trust Strategy and Executive Order (EO) 14028.
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience in information technology
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, docker or any backend programming stack
- 1+ years in testing the infrastructure as code (IAC) or other similar technologies to deploy the microservice application infrastructure
- 2+ years of hands-on experience, creating and maintaining CI / CD pipelines leveraging re-usable code
- 4+ years of experience conducting manual testing
- 2+ years of testing front-end Applications using automation
- 2+ years of testing backend Applications using automation
- 3+ End to End DevOps hands-on knowledge, test automation with tools like GitHub, ADOPS, or similar CI / CD tools
- 3+ years of application development and / or testing in Agile methodology
- 1+ hands on SQL Skills using SSMS with a proficiency in reading and understanding the flow of a large / complicated Stored Procedure
- Information Assurance / DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II or higher (like Security+) (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, etc), databases (SQL, Oracle), collaboration tools
Responsibilities
As IT Quality Analyst, at GDIT, you will be responsible for effective testing software applications, infrastructure solutions and develop self-serviceYou will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and infrastructure architects, to design, implement, test and maintain automated workflows and processesBuild automation to support enforcement of best practices, policies, and guidelines for ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirementsMonitor infrastructure and software usage, analyze trends, and provide automation to help optimize resource utilization and cost efficiencyTest and maintain self-service automation frameworks and platforms to enable easy and efficient provisioning of resourcesCollaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and reducing manual interventionsCreate and maintain templates, blueprints, and automation scripts for provisioning infrastructure, applications, and servicesDrive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing automation tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and agilityCreate Test plan and test case to support UAT and requirements testingWork closely with development teams to integrate automation solutions into CI / CD pipelines and software delivery processesStay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in automationSalary Range : 60,548.80 - 101,108.80 USD
Education Required :
BA / BS with 4+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years of experience.Certification(s) Required :

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
