The Opportunity :
Gloo is currently seeking a Donor Gift Officer to assist Gloo in serving He Gets Us (and future clients) with their fundraising efforts. A Gift Officer is responsible for a book of prospective donors to be cultivated, align the passions of the donor with the passion of the organization and solicit donations on behalf of the non-profits that Gloo serves. This position partners closely with our clients and their internal fundraising teams to accomplish a mutual mission.
The Team : The Gloo Donor Team develops systems, processes, resource development and execution for key ministry clients as a service to their ministry under the leadership of Gloo’s Chief Innovation Officer. This position reports to the Donor Development Manager / Major Gift Officer at Gloo.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Serve as a primary fundraiser on behalf of Gloo’s clients
- Hold a book of prospective donors (250-500 giving units) that are to be cultivated, nurtured, cast vision to and inspired to give to He Gets Us.
- Be a spokesperson for He Gets Us, utilizing the assets and messaging that are pre-determined by He Gets Us at large, small and individual meetings & events.
- Serve as a primary communicator for Gloo & He Gets Us at major city and virtual donor events.
- Accountable for the fundraising goals assigned to this position.
- Accountable for helping Gloo clients to meet their annual fundraising goals.
- Up to 50-75% travel nationwide to meet with prospective donors, speak and network at He Gets Us donor events and follow-up with assigned prospective donors.
- Make inspiring and compassionate “asks” of prospective donors to join the movement financially
- Manage the work flows and accountability of donor tracking in CRM platforms.
- Accountable to donor scorecards and progress reports.
- Accountable to see the donor development process all the way through from initial prospect to pledge and completed contribution.
What We’re Looking For :
A minimum of 5 years experience in the area of Donor Development; major (High Net Worth) donor development preferredAdvanced level competency with common office tools and CRM platformsAn intense curiosity for how an organization serves their clients to deepen engagementHigh EQ, expert communication skills and a compassionate and inspiring approach to fundraising and donor development.Absolutely committed to delighting your clientsAn elegant and empathetic communicator – you can deliver meaning and intent in writing, on the phone and in visual presentations related to fundraisingA positive and energetic demeanor with the ability to exude confidence and excitement with every new challengeOur Team Members Enjoy :
