Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Memphis, Tennessee. Positions works closely with the Accounting Manager and is responsible for reconciliations, month-end journal entries and other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, or a similar role in the accounting department, is required.

Demonstrable proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Familiarity with financial accounting statements.

Must possess skills in the 'Month End Close' process.

Excellent mathematical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong analytical abilities to comprehend and interpret financial data.

Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Must be ethical, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred but not mandatory.
