Location (city, state) : Garland, TX

Pay : $20 $22 / hour (based on experience)

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established surgery center in Garland, TX, affiliated with a leading healthcare network. The center provides high-quality surgical care to patients across the North Dallas region and is seeking a skilled insurance verification and scheduling coordinator to support their growing team.

Job Description :

We are hiring a Surgical Insurance Verification & Scheduling Coordinator to manage insurance verification, benefit calculations, and surgery scheduling. This role is ideal for someone with experience in surgical coordination and insurance review, who can multitask and communicate effectively with patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Verify insurance coverage for scheduled surgeries.
  • Calculate patient responsibility and review out-of-pocket costs with patients.
  • Assist with scheduling surgeries and coordinating with clinical staff.
  • Cross-train in other front office and administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication of benefits and coverage.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of insurance verification experience, specifically for surgeries.
  • Experience in a surgery center, hospital, or physician office coordinating procedures.
  • Familiarity with benefit calculations and patient financial responsibility.
  • Experience as a surgery scheduler is a plus if combined with insurance knowledge.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Professional and patient-focused communication style.
