Position Type : Locum Tenens (with transition to permanent after ~6 months)

Location : North Dakota

Start Date : TBD - Flexible based on provider availability

Duration : 6 months locums before perm transition

Opportunity Highlights :

We're seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM only) for a Level II Trauma Center in North Dakota. This is a locum-to-perm opportunity, ideal for physicians looking to explore a long-term fit before committing.

Schedule & Setting :

  • Shift Length : 10-12 hours, variable start times
  • Shift Volume : ~1.4 patients / hour
  • Work Setting : Hospital-based Emergency Department
  • EMR : EPIC
  • No midlevel support - physician-only coverage
    • Required Skills :
  • Intubation
  • Chest Tubes
  • Central Lines
  • Procedural Sedation
  • OB / GYN Procedures & Deliveries
  • Adult & Pediatric Resuscitation

Requirements :

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only) - Required
  • Active North Dakota Medical License - Required
  • DEA Registration - Required
  • Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS - All Required

    • Travel & Lodging :

  • Travel, lodging, and car rental covered for non-local providers
