As a Materials Handling Tech I, your key role is to organize, track and deliver supplies that are vital to the success of the hospital. Ensuring that each room and floor is stocked and prepared for the next patient at all times, is an essential practice throughout the system.

STATUS : 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, Full-Time

LOCATION : UMMC-North Street Campus; 127 North Street, Batavia, NY 14020

DEPARTMENT : UMMC Supply Chain - Materials Management

SCHEDULE : 8 hour shifts, Mon-Friday, 7am-3 : 30pm

• Complete Materials Management Skills Checklist I required
• Participated in Hazardous Materials Safety Training and Safety Lifting Program
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communications skills
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office software familiarity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.
