Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short / long-term planning for the sites they manage.

Thinking strategically, develop a team and provide leadership that enables operations functions including but not limited to Production, Engineering, NPI, Continuous Improvement, EHS, Facilities, and Supply Chain to :

  • Transform and sustain operations competitive advantages through quality, cost, and service
  • Deliver to customers’ expectations to retain / improve customer loyalty for business & profitability growth
  • Achieve plant long term strategic goals and short-term plan commitments and goals

Major Accountabilities :

  • Developing and maintain a site strategy and road map of delivery for your site in line with the IVD business strategy ensuring alignment throughout the facility to goals and deliverables
  • Site level budget / forecast and delivery of performance to agreed targets
  • Manage and motivate staff : ensure that roles and expectations are clearly communicated throughout the organization
  • Drive the performance of the operations through clear cascaded goals and KPIs
  • Grow the business through partnering with the R&D organization ensuring successful launch of NPI
  • Work closely with all functions to ensure appropriate structures and capabilities required are in place to enable success, ensuring a deep understanding of the talent pipeline and capability gaps
  • Driving transformational change through all functions in line with the site strategy
  • Develop a culture in line with desired TE behaviors that focuses on continuous improvement
  • Engage with the other IVD Ops managers globally to ensure standardization of process and approach across the IVD Operations network
  • Manage and optimize resources to deliver consistently on performance measures and growth expectations
  • Continually seek and capitalize on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Drive the environmental, health, and safety performance of the factory
  • Ensure that an effective communication strategy is in place at all levels throughout the site
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as all TE policies and procedures
  • Create an inclusive, authentic employee experience that will ignite commitment and confidence in leadership, to strengthen individual, team and business performance.
  • What your background should look like :

  • Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in an advanced manufacturing company preferably in the Medical device or pharma packaging segment, with a minimum of 5 years operations leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team, with active presence on the manufacturing floor
  • Proven ability to identify, coach and grow talent
  • Experience in a similar leadership role in a related industry.
  • Ability to adapt to work priorities in response to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Experience in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing background desirable
  • Knowledge of 13485 and FDA regulations is a plus
  • Must be proficient in English language

    COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $129,360 – $194,090 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
