Data Engineer (Azure, Java, Python, SQL)

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow). Experience with event-based systems, functional programming, and messaging frameworks like Kafka. Alignment with enterprise data architecture strategies. Enhancing data availability via APIs and shared services; optimizing solutions using cloud technologies. Conducting risk assessments and validating data processing systems for functionality and security. Performing technical and functional analysis for multiple projects. Building infrastructure for efficient ETL processes using Python. Expertise with relational databases and data management platforms (Splunk, Snowflake, YugabyteDB, Aerospike, S3). Data parsing and analytics in large datasets using Python and scripting technologies. Familiarity with quantitative techniques, statistics, and econometrics. Knowledge of hybrid on-prem and cloud data architectures, especially for data streaming, storage, and processing. Strong analytical skills and ability to make timely decisions based on facts and experience. Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills; ability to explain technical details. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a constantly evolving environment. Collaboration with business and technology groups; presenting in various settings. Navigating organizationally to accomplish tasks and working on multiple efforts simultaneously. Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills; eagerness to learn and develop.
