Mid-Level Estimator

Scope of Work : We are seeking a Mid-Level Estimator for our Project Controls (PC) Team. Due to work we've recently won, our PC group is at capacity with workload. This person will support our estimating efforts for a variety of projects including, but not limited to, vertical construction, transportation / infrastructure, and government / federal projects.

Responsibilities Include :

• Estimate and negotiate change orders with the general contractor
• Track reimbursable expenses
• Evaluate RFI's, submittals, and Field Memos for cost impacts as directed by the Construction Manager
• Prepare Change Order documents and exhibits. Coordinate edits to change order scope, and terms and conditions with the contractor and client
• Update change order log and track contingency balance. Provide estimates for cost to complete and rough order of magnitude for potential risk issues
• Review backup for Time and Material change orders
• Change Order negotiations and prepare minutes
• Prepare detailed documentation of rejected items submitted in Contractor's change order proposals
