• As a Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all welding operations meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
• This includes compliance with local, state (Arizona), and federal regulations, while upholding the company’s commitment to industry excellence, integrity, and workplace safety.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this role effectively, the candidate must be able to execute each essential duty with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project inspection requirements before welding operations begin.
• Verify that approved base metals, filler materials, and joint preparations are used in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications.
• Monitor welders, tackers, and welding operators to ensure adherence to approved welding techniques and procedures.
• Conduct visual weld inspections per applicable codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) and document results accurately.

Interpret and apply welding symbols, drawings, and quality standards to confirm compliance.
