Software Engineer

The Software Engineer position will design and develop cloud-based software products while ensuring the integrity and security of FinTech modules.

Day-to-day responsibilities include the following :

• Provide technical guidance to accurately estimate project timelines, workload, and viability in alignment with business objectives during biweekly Sprint Planning sessions.
• Implement new features and optimize existing system and program functionality as listed in the Jira tickets.
• Research and evaluate technical solutions to address business requirements, ensuring the product remains up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks for optimal security and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to facilitate the deployment of code to production environments, ensuring a smooth transition during software version updates. Take an active role in the development and integration of new pipelines, utilizing tools such as SonarQube to maintain high code quality and minimize vulnerabilities.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of peer-developed code on Github, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards. Offer constructive feedback to enhance code style, integration processes, precision, testability, and performance efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with team members to resolve technical issues, leveraging subject matter expertise to overcome obstacles and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of potential integrations by developing and testing proof of concepts, aiming to enhance and streamline functionality within existing systems.
