Technical Writer

CACI is seeking a Technical Writer responsible for producing, writing clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation to include inspection results, guides, white papers, manuals, procedures, plans, and proposals. Gathers information, interviews subject matter experts, and conducts other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Program Manager, inspection teams, and subject matter experts to gather technical details
• Conduct independent research on industry standards and product specifications
• Create user whitepapers, design specification, technical reports and the like
• Organize and structure content being able to follow both customer templates and program needs
• Develop templates and documentation frameworks to maintain consistency
• Document management and version control using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint and other online tools
• Adapt writing style and complexity based on the target audience
• Ensure compliance and standards adherence
• Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams and support teams to align documentation with product updates

Pay Range : This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location. Minimum Required Hourly Wage : $38.93. There are a host of other factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographical location, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
