This position works in collaboration with the Director of Safety and Security to maintain a high level of regulatory compliance throughout the clinic. Responsibilities include oversight of the clinics Employee Health program and infection prevention program. Primary duties include maintenance of the employee health program, training, data management, facility safety and health audits, investigation of accidents / incidents, case management of employee injuries and illness and surveillance of infection among patients and employees. EHS department liaison for regulatory compliance keeping abreast with OSHA, AAAHC, CDC, APIC and AORN standards.

Required Qualifications :

  • Graduate of approved school of professional nursing
  • Registered Nurse, Texas Drivers License, BLS through American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare employee health / infection control; Employee Health / Infection Control or Safety training experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in nursing, Occupational Health Nurse Certification
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
  • Current knowledge of AAAHC accreditation standards. APIC Infection Control Training
  • 3+ years of experience as an infection prevention and or employee health nurse. 3+ years of training experience
  • Excellent problem, organization, and communication skills
  • Special Skills

  • Good problem, organization, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. Strong computer and research skills
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
