Job Purpose :

To perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies at the Waco, TX facility.

Job Duties :

This position will report to the Shift Supervisor, and actual work assignments cover all aspects of the facility’s functions.

Performs the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials equipment and supplies.

Works from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, package parts, etc.

Uses machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc.

Performs related and / or specialized clerical duties and resolves discrepancies as required.

Maintains related clerical records and operates computer terminal to access and mobile equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift Stand up / Sit down, Tugger, etc.) to facilitate job functions as required.

Reports defects and need for repairs.

Other tasks as assigned.

Shift :

First Shift : Monday - Thursday; 6 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m.

Basic Qualifications :

At least 6 months of work experience

Beginner proficiency in Computer Skills / Microsoft applications

Must be capable and willing to learn the operation and basic care of mobile equipment such as forklifts

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation) :

Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. for intervals of 15-30 minutes

Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor

Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

Top candidates will also have :

Warehouse operations experience

Experience with Mach 1 order management systems

Inventory control experience

Basic mathematical ability

Auditing experience

Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work experience
