Job Description

OVERVIEW

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and championing the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success of one or more SVG products or product areas. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to discover and deliver products that are valuable to our customers, viable to operate, and feasible to build. Supporting our CRM product team, Salesforce or other CRM experience is highly preferred.

Need to be currently in Kansas City to be able to work onsite hybrid in our office in downtown Kansas City, MO.

REPORTS TO

The Product Manager reports to the Director of Product Delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to :

• Deeply understand customer needs : Conduct user research, analyze customer data, and gather market insights to identify and validate customer problems and unmet needs.
• Understand the business and regulatory environment : Understand the SVG business model, processes, and financial metrics and manage the compliance of products within the regulatory landscape.
• Define product vision and strategy : Develop a clear and compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the overall company strategy and addresses key customer needs.
• Run product discovery : In collaboration with UI / UX designers, conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and A / B testing to validate hypotheses and inform the product roadmap.
• Manage the product roadmap : Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that outlines the key outcomes and features required to achieve the product vision.
• Define product requirements : Work with delivery teams to translate user needs and business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Own the relationship and integration of 3rd party tools related to assigned products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams : Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is built, designed, and launched effectively through Agile development processes.
• Analyze product performance : Track key product metrics, analyze user behavior, and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively : Engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• Be a product evangelist : Promote the product internally and externally, and act as a champion for the customer.
• Foster a culture of innovation : The Product Manager understands that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the product team contributing their passion and their ideas and fosters a culture in support of that.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
