News Editor
who knows their way around the world of computing. This is someone who keeps up with hardware launches, Linux updates, open‑source projects, and everything happening in the PC space. You’ll help shape XDA’s daily news coverage, guiding writers and making sure our stories are fast, accurate, and genuinely useful for our readers.

Job Responsibilities
Plan, assign, and edit daily news stories across the computing world
Keep the news cycle moving, ensuring stories go live quickly and cleanly
Write breaking news and explainers when something big happens
Work with writers to sharpen their reporting, headlines, and storytelling
Collaborate with the broader editorial team to shape XDA’s tone and coverage priorities

Qualifications
Relevant experience in writing and editing in the English language
