job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide comprehensive primary and urgent care in an outpatient setting Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans Prescribe medications and manage therapies in accordance with DEA regulations Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Athenahealth EMR Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and safety standards Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings required Active licensure in Minnesota required Board certification in Family Medicine required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR preferred Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings and is prepared to deliver high-quality patient care as part of a collaborative medical team.
