JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Visualization Developer / Manager to lead our visualization team and elevate our data presentation strategies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Power BI and possess a strong background in designing, developing, and managing sophisticated data visualizations and dashboards that make complex datasets understandable and actionable.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and other relevant tools to support business decisions.
  • Lead and manage the data visualization team, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Develop scripts and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes tailored for optimal visualization.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and optimize data schemas in our data warehouse specifically for visualization purposes.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business intelligence initiatives and measure the impact on business outcomes.
  • Develop regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and trends to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Engage with internal and external operations and business users to gather and analyze visualization requirements, ensuring that projects align with business needs and priorities.
  • Plan and prioritize visualization projects in consultation with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage security protocols, including user access control, to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee the version control and release processes, possibly integrating CI / CD pipelines to enhance project delivery and deployment.
  • Establish visualization standards and best practices for the company.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing data visualizations to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on advanced visualization techniques
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data visualization technologies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
  • Experience in designing and managing data warehouses with a focus on supporting complex visualizations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with additional visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
  • Certification in Power BI or other relevant visualization tools.
  • Experience with security practices, version control systems, and CI / CD methodologies.
