job_description.job_card.job_descriptionConduct a comprehensive audit of the current payroll system to identify setup gaps and optimization opportunities Collaborate with the Controller to assess workflows and ask critical process questions Review system configuration Document best practices and develop standard operating procedures for payroll operations Identify and mitigate operational risks Support resolution of prior compliance issues 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally in a consulting or systems improvement capacity Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Paycom experience highly preferred) Familiarity with accounting concepts such as GL and journal entries
