Senior UX Researcher - Seattle (or Remote PST)

Research is central to our product culture at RentSpree, helping shape what we build and why. As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll be a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, delivering robust and actionable insights that inform decisions across the product lifecycle. Your work will directly influence how we understand and serve our users - agents, landlords, and renters alike.

We're seeking a skilled mixed-methods researcher who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment and knows how to prioritize, plan, and execute research that has real business and user impact. You're a great fit for this role if you thrive on ownership, move with urgency, and have a high bar for quality without letting perfection slow progress.

We have a strong preference for Seattle-based hires (hybrid, 2x / week in-office) but are open to exceptional remote hires based in PST.

What You'll Do

Identify high-impact research opportunities : Ensure we're asking the right questions to move the work forward and uncover meaningful insights.

Partner with cross-functional teams : Deeply understand product goals, user needs, and the broader business context.

Plan with purpose : Scope timelines that balance depth and speed, focusing effort where it will have the greatest impact.

Lead end-to-end research initiatives : Own the full research process, from defining the right methods to delivering insights that shape product direction across the lifecycle.

Communicate insights effectively : Craft compelling narratives that drive alignment and inform decision-making at all levels.

Champion research quality : Uphold high standards while adapting to the pace and constraints of a fast-moving startup environment.

Contribute to our design team's culture and strategy, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Skills You Bring (Required)

5+ years of experience conducting research for digital products, preferably in fast-paced, startup or scale-up environments.

Strong strategic thinking : You know how to connect user insights to business goals and product strategy.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of translating complex findings to diverse audiences.
