Engineering Support Technician – Electronics

Pflugerville, TX

1st & 2nd Shift | Contract-to-Hire

20.50 / hour

Are you hands-on with electronics and looking for a career path in engineering support? We’re hiring Engineering Support Technicians to assist with testing, troubleshooting, and development of electronic components and systems for non-production engineering projects. This contract-to-hire opportunity is based in Pflugerville, TX and offers growth potential within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do :

Set up and run engineering tests on electronic assemblies and components.

Troubleshoot and analyze electronic test results to assist in resolving technical issues.

Support engineers in developing and refining hardware and software test setups.

Assemble and modify wiring, cables, and electronic subassemblies based on schematics.

Document test results and procedures, and suggest process or design improvements.

Maintain test equipment, tools, and documentation to current specifications.

Train operators and fellow technicians on proper use of equipment and test procedures.

Perform customer-specified electronic tests and report outcomes accurately.

What You Bring :

Previous experience supporting electronic testing, troubleshooting, or assembly.

Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test plans.

Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and communication skills.

Comfortable working on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
