Hedra is a pioneering generative media company backed by top investors at A16Z, Index, and Abstract Ventures. We're building Hedra Studio, a multimodal creation platform capable of control, emotion, and creative intelligence.

At the core of Hedra Studio is our Character-3 foundation model, the first omnimodal model in production. Character-3 jointly reasons across image, text, and audio for more intelligent video generation — it’s the next evolution of AI-driven content creation.

The Hedra team is fully in-person in SF / NY with a shared love of solving hard problems using whiteboards.

Summary :

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll build Hedra's next generation collaborative web interfaces for creating, optimizing, and deploying generative media leveraging the latest media foundation models from Hedra and beyond. You will build novel interaction paradigms that power a tool used by millions of creators.

Experience :

Experience using React, Typescript, Javascript, and NextJS

Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs, and familiar with standards such as OpenAPI

Experience with CSS and Tailwind

Experience developing a component library and design systems, and using tools such as Storybook

Experience working with frameworks such as TanStack / React Query, Zustand, and Redux

Startup experience is a must — we work hard and build quickly

Personality :

Self-motivated and independent — able to set accurate timelines for development and deliver on them. Have an opinion and the experience to backup that opinion.

Low ego, high patience, strong communication skills.

Understand operational costs and overhead short and long term.
