Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred

License : State Licensed

Certifications : BLS, PET

Must-Have :

• NMTCB certification preferred
• ARRT certification preferred
• Cerner experience

Description :

This position requires a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work a day shift, Monday through Friday.

The work schedule may be subject to change.

Candidates must have a valid state license.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

PET certification is required as well.

No time off requests (RTO) will be accepted within the first two weeks of the assignment.

All required certifications and licenses must be in-hand when applying.

Experience with handling and disposal of radioactive materials is necessary.

The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is expected to be around 5 patients.

The unit consists of 1 room dedicated to procedures.

Interdisciplinary support services are available.

Those applying must have GE PET scan experience.

Candidates should be skilled in starting and maintaining IVs.

A maximum of 7 days of RTO is highly preferred for the 13-week contract.

All requests for time off must be included in the job application and cannot be changed after submission.

Two supervisor references are required to be provided.
