This is a 13-week contract position.
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry role requires the ability to float to medical-surgical units. The RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and guiding patient / family education while supervising other nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective patient care in the Med / Surg / Telemetry Unit.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical conditions.
- Monitor cardiac conditions and respond quickly to changes in patients' conditions and treatment responses.
- Guide patient and family teaching initiatives.
- Maintain standards of care and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
