We seek a  seasoned Managing Attorney or an experienced 4 - 6 year probate litigator ready t o step into a leadership role at our office in San Diego, California. This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced attorney who thrives in a leadership capacity and is ready to take ownership of a growing caseload, mentor junior attorneys, and oversee office operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in California probate, trust, and estate litigation and is looking to join a collaborative, high-performing team with built-in marketing and business development support.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related conflicts.
• Lead and mentor associate attorneys and legal staff within the Walnut Creek office.
• Develop litigation strategies and oversee case progression from intake through trial or settlement.
• Act as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client relationship development.
• Maintain high-level client service and ensure communication and outcomes align with client expectations.
• Participate in marketing efforts with dedicated in-house support.
