Our client, a leading technology provider, is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Operations Engineer, you will be part of the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) Central Command supporting critical production applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Systems Operations Engineer

Location : Chandler, AZ

Pay Range : $40 - $45 / hr (Only W2) - Will Not accept Third Party Applicants

What's the Job?

  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical production issues to ensure smooth operations and application availability.
  • Execute automated application deployments and assist with business continuity planning switchover activities.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to maintain batch processing health and application performance.
  • Engage with various tech stacks including ServiceNow, Autosys, Unix, and Windows-Azure Cloud.
  • Prioritize and manage work intake through queues, dashboards, and other tools to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

What's Needed?

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in public cloud environments, particularly Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with executing runbooks and playbooks.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
