Instructional Designer / Content Engineer (Austin)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Content Engineer to help architect and build a next-generation technical enablement and certification ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in developing a scalable, component-based, multi-channel content framework that powers precise, personalized, and dynamic learning experiences for technical professionals.

You will collaborate closely with partners across content strategy, subject matter expertise, and engineering to apply intelligent content practices that elevate our training programs, technical enablement, and assessment capabilities.

What Youll Do

Content Modeling & Transformation

• Apply and populate structured content models for technical enablement assetsincluding learning objectives, conceptual modules, procedures, and assessments.
• Work within established schemas, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks to ensure content is accurately tagged and easily retrievable.
• Deconstruct and transform source materials from technical documentation and SME input into modular, reusable content components.

Start Date : This is an upcoming opportunity that will start in early 2026

Duration : 6-month contract, with potential renewal for up to 18 months

Hours : 40 hours per week

Location : Part on-site in Austin Texas

The pay range for this is $60.00 to $65.00 per hour on a W2 basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
