Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS6 Communications Business Partner to join the Communications & Engagement Business Partner's Branch in supporting solutions that enhance multi-channel engagement & communication strategies.
Labour Hire hourly rate contract spanning 12 months with the opportunity to extend. APS6 level role paying an hourly rate of + Superannuation, to be based out of our client's Richmond location.
hybrid environment on offer with 2 days working from home, 3 on site, hours expected are an average of hours across a 5-day working week.
About the role
The APS6 Communications and Engagement Business Partners is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.
The position has reasonable autonomy and accountability to exercise both initiative and judgment to interpret legislation and policy, in the application of practices and procedures to achieve outcomes within the functions.
Responsibilities will include
- Contributing to a team delivering timely, innovative, efficient and evidence-based communications and engagement strategies, plans, content and activities that support the Corporate Plan objectives
- Developing, implementing and monitoring targeted communication and engagement plans
- Managing internal and external communications and engagement channels to support business areas reach their intended audiences
- Utilising reporting metrics to review the impact of communication and engagement approaches, identifying areas of overlap and key gaps to refine and improve plans and strategies
- Implementing a communications and engagement business partnering model within the Agency, guiding the team with best practice to provide advice, quality assurance and support to business areas to meet their communication objectives
- Contributing to a strategic and nationally consistent approach for the Agency, managing public facing communications and engagement and supporting approaches that leverage best practice
- Implementing a communications and engagement business partnering model and producing content for communication channels and platforms including the website, Ministerial and Executive Briefings, event materials and social media
- Coordinating delivery across the division including capturing feedback, measuring effectiveness of activities and strategies, including identifying associated risks and trends
