Accounts Payable Manager
Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo) is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
Essential Functions
- Lead a team of Accounts Payable Processors by overseeing, training, coaching, motivating, setting goals and planning work assignments
- Manage payment disbursements and oversee the processing of payment batches, payment exception handling, direct deposits, and returned checks
- Perform month-end Accounts Payable closing duties and complete monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Research and problem solve invoice discrepancies to ensure on-time payment and identification of process improvements
- Work closely with stakeholders, corporate functions, and vendors to continuously improve Procure-to-Pay processing to increase efficiency and accuracy, which includes automation project initiatives, testing new functionality and supporting system upgrades
- Ensuring timely annual reporting of Form 1099s
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support both Internal and External audits
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with various teams throughout the company and all levels of management regarding accounting results
- Partner with functional teams to understand operational changes and subsequent impact on financial results

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is requiredExperience
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of four years of accounting and / or finance experience.Minimum of 2 years as a Team Lead or Manager position in Accounts Payable.Experience with financial closes, including review, reconciliation and preparation of P&L, BS and CF statement accountsDeep knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting standardsBachelor's degree from an accredited college / universityProven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize quickly, and deliver resultsStrong communication skills to convey financial results to non-financial leadersStrong computer skills : ExcelDesire for continuous learning and growthPreferred Qualifications / Nice to Have
