Other Duties Include But are not limited to :

• Evaluating students academic and social growth keeping appropriate records and preparing progress reports
• Communicating with parents via email conferences and other means to discuss student progress
• Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health attitude and learning problems
• Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity
• Substitute / duty coverage as needed
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day
• Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours

Position Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications : Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools. A Bachelors degree in Education or related subject. Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.

Preferred Qualifications : A minimum of 3 years of experience as an elementary educator. Masters degree in Education or related subject.
