Imaging Specialist

Mammography technologists play a vital role in healthcare by performing breast imaging procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of images. They provide exceptional patient care, prioritizing safety and customer service. To excel in this position, one must possess strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently. The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, and walking, with moderate lifting and carrying of patients. Technologists may be exposed to blood and bodily fluids, radiation, and hazardous chemicals in a healthcare setting. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and experience in a healthcare environment are essential qualifications for this role.
