job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the premises, reporting findings as appropriate. Assist visitors and employees with directions and information, helping to maintain a welcoming environment while supporting security-related objectives. Document incidents and observations clearly and promptly according to Allied Universal and client site requirements. Collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for all personnel. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
