job_description.job_card.job_descriptionContinuously checks for print quality. Removes defective material per the specification. Utilizes a ruler, safety knife and other tools as necessary. Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them. Must understand basic printing defects. Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Work SAFELY - Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures Be DEPENDABLE - regular and predictable attendance and work overtime when required Be a TEAM PLAYER - ability to assist others with machine set-up, run, and clean up Be CARING - respect others and communicate openly Strong Communication, organization and prioritization skills High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required Strong proficiency in the use of computer systems Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities Quality conscious and customer focused Self-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software program Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance Must be able to lift 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on an occasional basis Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus Wear hearing, foot, eye and / or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting Frequently use hands to handle or feel, and to write and type Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb / balance, and reach with hands and arms Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit Low to moderate noise environment in office areas, moderate to loud in manufacturing Work flexible / varying schedules and hours as needed Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines

We are currently looking for Finishing Machine Operators to join our team on 2nd and 3rd shift. The Finishing Machine Operator is responsible for checking quality and finishing IML labels either through die cutting or punching.
