Key Responsibilities :

• Independently perform respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies. - 20%
• Collect arterial blood gas samples from all sites, accurately analyze, and report results. - 10%
• Initiate, monitor, and manage various forms of mechanical ventilation for patients. - 20%
• Manage airways and the related equipment effectively. - 10%
• Document and charge for all respiratory care activities accurately and educate patients and families as needed. - 10%
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, providing complete reports and recommendations. - 10%
• Adhere to infection control practices and perform thorough cleaning / disinfection of equipment. - 10%
• Utilize resources efficiently, demonstrating awareness of supply and time management. - 10%
