Accounting Associate - Clearwing

The Accounting Associate is a detail-oriented person that prepares, maintains and processes accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits and assists with office assignments. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter and review vendor bills
• Code expenses to the appropriate G / L account and allocate expense between entities
• Review or seek approval for invoices
• Review vendor bills for sales tax or apply use tax as needed
• Prepare accounts payable checks & reports
• Review customer invoices for sales tax as appropriate
• Enter customer invoices, send payment links and invoices to customers
• Post payments to customer accounts
• Follow up on late payments and collections
• Perform additional duties as assigned
