Dignity Health Medical Group Stockton a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a multi-specialty clinic with three locations in Stockton California. Along with our local affiliated Dignity Health hospital (St. Josephs Medical Center) we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides primary care for family medicine and internal medicine cancer care (gynecologic oncology and radiation oncology) endocrinology gastroenterology and general surgery.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary :

As the Clinic Supervisor at our Dignity Health Medical Group Stockton youll oversee the staff (patient care team front desk records and ancillary services) in the outpatient clinic caring for our patients. This role will oversee multiple specialty clinics.

Every interaction is an opportunity to improve your understanding of a patients needs the needs of your patient care team or the needs of your clinic. Youll advocate for your team as you support them in reaching their full potential aligning with our operational goals and objectives.

To thrive in this role you need to be accountable and confident. Youre an excellent communicator in one-on-one interactions and in front of groups. Its also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your clinic.

Success in this role means you :

• Oversee smooth flow of clinic operations acts as a resource to staff for operational needs and handles day-to-day patient satisfaction concerns
• Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients
• Recruit hire train discipline and supervise staff including performance evaluations and competency assessments
• Assist with budget development management and issues cost effective operations
• Monitor productivity and efficiency of your department
• Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence with the patient care team
• Be responsible for the safeguard of patient health and financial information
