Billing Clerk

Halladay Motors  is looking for an experienced Accounting Billing Clerk to join our team. We offer a team atmosphere, great benefits, and ongoing training and support. This is a full-time position with an opportunity for growth. The ideal candidate should have some previous dealership experience and or be capable of learning our DMS Dealertrack system and processes. The Billing Clerk job responsibilities will include a wide variety of clerical duties including but not limited to the following :

• Process the accounting of all vehicle purchases
• Verifies all deal contents and issues payoff checks for trade-ins
• Posts all sale transactions to accounting in the dealership's Dealer Track DMS
• Generate and process invoices accurately to stock in new vehicles.
• Reconciles new and used inventory schedules
• Reconciles all other schedules pertaining to the posting of the deals weekly.
• Communicates with Finance Sales staff to assure deals are turned in and processed in a timely manner
• Posts : Weekly / Monthly Sales Incentive Invoices,
• Reconciles Dealer Reserve Statements
• Process Warranty, GAP and other financial product cancellation refunds
• Handle Daily Bank Deposits
• Process customer payments, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely collections.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to billing inquiries, explaining charges, and assisting customers with payment-related issues professionally and courteously.
• General ledger entries and adjustments.
• Perform other duties as needed
