SUMMARY
- Hourly Rate $ 16.95
- This position is responsible for keeping working areas in the packaging department in clean and orderly condition, assisting in the operation of packaging machines during operator breaks, and gaining baseline knowledge of all areas of operation in the packaging department.
FUNCTIONS
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Performs general cleaning and maintenance of plant facilities.Cleans magnet rooms for Bosch, Thiele, and Fawema work stations.Cleans platforms for Thiele and Fawema packaging machines.Maintains melter / paint room area by completing 5S, organizing supplies, maintaining stock, and keeping room clean.Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials using specified containers.Monitors and operates packaging equipment during operator break times.Occasionally reworks / re-labels defective product in packaging.Responsible for operation of the re-melt area in packaging.Detects and reports defective or unsafe conditions in respective work areas.Knows and observes Plant Safety work procedures and rules, Environmental Practices and GMP guidelines.Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.Company Conformance Statements
